Mike and I have had a great adventure in the Sunshine State of Florida this winter of 2012. We began in the Panhandle where we enjoyed Oysters on the Half Shell several times. We traveled down the Gulf Coast to Homosassa where we visited the Wildlife Reserve. We enjoyed fresh fish from the Seafood Markets and fresh vegetables from the Produce Markets.

Here we are in Sarasota, FL |
We have had the opportunity to visit friends, Juanita and John who moved to Florida in December. Mike and Larry Hutsell met in Basic Training in Ft. Knox, KY back in the '60. Larry and Diana married after basic training in December and we have been friends ever since. We also have begun a new friendship with Bob and Janet Helms. Mike and Bob worked together in the business world and now we hope to build a friendship outside of work.

Bob and Janet reintroduced us to bicycling. We enjoyed a ride around their neighborhood and the next day we went to the Bicycle Shop that Janet suggested. By the weekend we were proud owners of 2 Specialized Crossroads Bikes.

February 3rd we left the Gulf Coast and drove to the East Coast and the Atlantic Ocean. We are staying at the Outdoor Motor Coach Resort in Port St. Lucie. This Resort is absolutely Beautiful. The lots are spacious and landscaped. God is giving us a taste of Paradise.
