Hufnagel Update, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!

TOTALLY DIFFERENT LIFESTYLE
When Mike seriously began to think about retiring from Maverick Transportation, we began to consider downsizing our living space. We looked at smaller homes but that didn't seem to be the way to go. Then one day God spoke to my heart and said, "Hold your things loosely." Several weeks later I spoke with Mike about what God had said. He thought a moment and replied, "Do you want to RV full-time?" I thought a moment or maybe two and said, "YES!"

TRANSITION BEGINS
House goes on the market the end of January. Mike retired from his full time job March 31 of this year, 2011. We spent the spring (April-May) at our place in the Ozarks Outdoor RV Resort on Table Rock Lake in Northern Arkansas, with a trip out west for the month of July. We were able to take our first born fifteen year old granddaughter, Lesley, with us. "What a Great Trip". Lesley needed to be back in early August to start school so we spent August through early November in the Ozarks as well. We began volunteering at the Faith Community Health Clinic in Branson one day a week. God opened the opportunity for me to teach 8 women in our Resort area how to study the Bibile Inductively for 8 weeks. At the conclusion of our study on October 26, the Lord provided the very next day a buyer for our house.  We were back in Little Rock in November packing up things that our grown children wanted and on November 12th that 'Stuff' left on a truck for Memphis. On November 15th Pennsylvania Trading Co., an Estate Sale Company, took possession of our house and began to pull everything from cabinets and drawers. It has been an unusual experience to see all our possessions layed bare before us. We made the decision to sell everything and live life with what we have on the RV.

THE GREAT ADVENTURE - RVing FULL TIME
December 6 we began our INCREDIBLE JOURNEY. We spent time with family before heading to Florida to spend the winter months. Mike and I are looking for God to use us in the places He takes us. We don't want to travel for travels sake but to be His witnesses wherever we go.

We pray that you and yours will celebrate the Birth of the Savior, and throughout the Year of 2012 you will Praise and Worship the God of our Salvation.
...for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior; who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11

A Day at Callaway Gardens

Today we spent the day at Callaway Gardens. Even though the weather was a bit rainy we still had a good time driving through the gardens, visiting the Botanical Gardens and Butterfly House. We had a great lunch at the Bakery and Cafe in the town of Pine Mountain. Tonight we drove through the Fantasy in Lights. The gardens are aglow with over 8 million lights. I stood and took pictures from the sun roof. "What Fun!
