Hard to believe September is almost half gone. Mike and I had a great time away from the Ozarks late July and the month of August. This summer we took advantage of several reunions. We began our stay at the Audobon State Park with a picnic for family that were in town for the LaMar Family Reunion plus my two sisters and a brother in law. Saturday, July 28 we drove to Lynnville, IN for the LaMar Family Reunion. Mike's mother is now 90 and her sister Jane is 87. The turn out was great and needless to say there was plenty of food. We spent the afternoon getting updates on everyones day to day happenings.

Next on the agenda, Tell City, IN, Mike and my High School Reunion of the class of 1962. We took a tour of the school which has changed a great deal from the days we walked these halls. All the additions are to the rear of the building preserving the original structure. Our Mom's and my Dad all attended this same school.
Next on our Tour, Lexington, KY,we decided to play tourist for several days. We stayed at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground. Here we took in the Kentucky Horse Museum, and the Horse Farm Tour where we were able to see Calumet Farms, KatieRich Farm and Keeneland Race Track. I can now say I've seen and touched a million dollar horse. Kentucky being known for Horses and Bourbon we had to take in a tour of Buffalo Trace and Wild Turkey Distilleries.

Next stop: Cincinnati, OH we would be visiting the Creation Museum which we heard about from friends in Little Rock, AR. If you are ever in the Cincinnati Area you need to put this on your list of things to do. IT IS A MUST SEE! We spent two days there going through the museum and attending speaker sessions of the day. We were very impressed and look forward to their next project: Noah's Ark, a FULL Size replica.
We also had opportunity to reconnect with friends and neighbors that we hadn't seen for 29 years. My camping experience began in Cincy, I will be forever grateful to the Presby Campers, a group from our then church who made the experience fun and memorable.

We are now back in the Ozarks RV Resort on Table Rock Lake enjoying the cooler weather. We will be here until the first full week of November when we will begin our journey to Florida for the winter months.
I am enjoying being back to meet with 9 very special women as we study God's Word together. They are such an inspiration to me. This season we are studying Nehemiah and Esther. Today we took a close look at what we learned about God, Prayer, and the Man Nehemiah from chapters one and two. WOW! God is great, awesome, compassionate, keeper of covenant, steadfast in His love, patient, faithful, slow to anger, hears our prayers, answers our prayers, and sees our life situations, only to name a few.
The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.’
REMEMBER TO VOTE in November.
In Christ,
Suzanne
